What 2 Months Of Intermittent Fasting Has Done To Improve My Health

“Don’t you get hungry all the time?”
“How is it possible to only eat in such a short amount of time?”
These are the two biggest questions I’ve gotten asked in the last two months, since starting my Intermittent fasting journey. After having these two months of fasting, I can honestly say with certainty that intermittent fasting has transformed my life in some amazing ways. I can’t wait to share how and encourage you on your journey to good health.

Before we dive right in, I want you to understand that this may not be for everyone. If you have health concerns, consult your doctor. Intermittent fasting has amazing benefits but make sure it is right and healthy for you. I am no expert on Intermittent fasting but I do have experience and knowledge on the subject. I’m going to try to refrain from using fancy words and sharing research on the subject. I want my testimony to stand out and encourage people (like myself) who have a hard time losing weight and sticking to a health plan.

1. Has Balanced My Hormones

I don’t get hungry at all times of the day. In fact I think about food far less now, then I ever did before. My body is more balanced because it is fasting. It knows when it’s hungry and when it’s not. My hormones are more balanced as a result of my consistent routine. Even with a slight switch of fasting times,my body is way more adaptable.

2. Has Increased My Energy

Because I’m on a schedule, my body gets the energy that it needs, at the time that it needs. I have more energy because my sleeping has improved. I don’t know if this has happened to others. But this is something that I noticed within a few weeks of intermittent fasting. I was able to do more things in my life as result of intermittent fasting. I kid you not.

3. Has Helped Me To Lose Weight

I have lost between 11-13 pounds in the last 2 months of Intermittent Fasting. Although this may not seem like much, I can see the difference in how my body looks. My body is more lean in parts. Then with running and doing HIIT workouts, I have been able to tone up my body and build some muscle in. Because I have increased energy from Intermittent Fasting, I don’t shrug off working out as much. I tend to look forward to it and my body is able to have the energy to do the high intensity workouts.

4. Has Saved Me Time And Money

Because I only eat in a short amount of time, I only eat one big meal a day. I don’t count my calories and I eat until I’m satisfied. Counting calories and restricting your calorie intake actually slows down your metabolism. Therefore I eat till satisfied. Intermittent Fasting has saved me loads of time on meal prepping and thinking about what my week of meals should be. I eat out less and I’m tempted to eat out a lot less because I’m not hungry anymore during my fasting time.
